About The Honeywell Foundation

The Honeywell Foundation is dedicated to the enhancement of artistic, social, cultural, and recreational opportunities for all.  We are a nonprofit arts organization located in Wabash, Indiana.  Founded in 1941 by industrialist Mark C. Honeywell, the Foundation now reaches hundreds of thousands of guests each year through a variety of arts offerings including live concerts, visual art programs, family festivals, and recreational events.

Our Culture

Every team member plays an important role in our mission.  We are a strengths-based organization that recognizes the need for individual development and clarity in purpose. We highly value teamwork, and seek energetic, fun, and committed individuals to become a part of our team.

Our core values of teamwork, innovation, excellence, service and stewardship capture the way in which our mission and vision are accomplished.  They’ve been carefully crafted and defined to give us a common language by which to hold ourselves and each other accountable.

Combining our individual strengths, supporting each other, and working toward common goals through open and honest communication

With initiative and determination, driving for exceptional  results in all we do through our strong work ethic

Providing exemplary service in every internal and external interaction by truly caring about others’ needs; ensuring a guest for life through every experience

Preserving our legacy – carrying on our mission in an ever useful and fiscally responsible way that honors those who support us; contributing to the well-being of our community and beyond

Our Marketing department plays a vital role in promoting the Honeywell Foundation and its mission.  It serves as the face of the organization, coordinating and producing all communications material and the overarching brand that represents everything we do at the Honeywell Foundation from traditional to social media and everything in-between.

Our Development department raises funds for the Foundation through individual, corporate and Foundation support. As a nonprofit, the Honeywell Foundation relies on donations to ensure the Foundation continues to live on. These philanthropic efforts benefit the community, region and beyond.

Our Facilities department is responsible for ensuring that buildings and their services meet the needs of our team and guests.  They keep our buildings and grounds clean, secure and operating at their best for our team and our guests.

Our Hospitality department provides exceptional guest experiences through our restaurant and catering service, offering a variety of different amenities to our clients.

Our Programming department provides the Foundation with programming and production of concerts, shows, special events, festivals, school-based educational programs, and arts-based education in addition to many other social and recreational opportunities.

"The Honeywell Foundation is a cornerstone of our community –  a place where memories are made and lives impacted. We have a team that truly cares not only about the mission and vision of the Honeywell Foundation, but each other."

Melanie Tart, Director of Finance

"The Honeywell team is such an outgoing group of individuals. I continue to be amazed by the selfless actions that are taken every day by the people around me. Ultimately, it makes for a very positive work environment, gives reassurance that we as a team are making a difference, and lastly provides me with a job experience that I can enjoy and take pride in every single day."

Andrew Rhoades, Sous Chef

"The mission of the Honeywell Foundation is why I came to work here and it is what drives me each day.  The work we do touches thousands of lives every year in an impactful way. Whether it is students or seniors or all those in between, we strive to offer programs and events that engage, educate and entertain.  I love the work culture here at the Honeywell Foundation, it’s a team!  We work hard, but we know our work is appreciated.  We have a dedicated and passionate workforce second to none and I am proud to be one of them."

Ellen Mock, Corporate Relations Manager

"Having worked for the Foundation now into the thirteenth year it has been a great experience and opportunity. From the beginning one of excitement, pride and support in being part of a great community/city/family where everyone matters and success is sought out and supported for all. The Honeywell family itself strives to stand tall and continue today that level of commitment to all of the lives it touches. As the Foundation continues to grow and develop on its core values, I look forward to many more successful stories."
