 PROFESSIONAL GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES FOR EDUCATORS

Educational Outreach opportunities are not just for students. The Honeywell Foundation provides opportunities for educators to learn how to incorporate arts integration into their classroom lessons, hone their skills using Visual Thinking Strategies to introduce content knowledge, and more. All of our educator opportunities allow teachers to earn PGPs while engaging in practices that will connect their students to curriculum on a deeper level.

Teacher Night at Dr. James Ford Historic Home

Thurs. Feb. 27, 2020

6:30 - 8 pm

Join the Honeywell Education team for this hands-on workshop where we explore ways to bring history to life in your classroom and beyond. The strategies we practice will be in the context of history; however, they can be applied at all grade levels with any content. Enjoy light refreshments as we explore new and meaningful ways to integrate the arts into your daily lessons. Even if you don’t think you are artistic, you will walk away with some hands-on experience and strategies that can be applied not only to history class, but to any content.  Earn some PGPs while enjoying this fun night with fellow teachers.
