Together We Bring Joy & Enrichment
Updated: Jan 27
The Honeywell Foundation offers so much more than world-class entertainment.
Each day our team works to bring joy and enrichment to ALL in our community and region, and we do this by creating one-of-a-kind arts and cultural opportunities for people in all walks of life. This includes incredible shows and concerts at the Honeywell Center, but also reaches much further.

Tours for Nature Lovers, History Buffs, and More
Everyone has different taste, and since we seek to bring joy and enrichment to ALL, we offer a variety of tours that appeal to a spectrum of interests.
If you’re fascinated by history, stop by for a tour at the Dr. James Ford Historic Home, a restored 19th Century physician’s home and surgery center. Or the Honeywell House, former home of Mrs. Mark. C. Honeywell. Each location has friendly, knowledgeable tour guides who excel at bringing history to life! | Tours available Tuesday-Saturday by appointment
If you love nature, there’s so much to see and learn at the picturesque six acres of Charley Creek Gardens. Your guide will talk about plant life and living creatures that call the gardens home, art displays throughout, and other elements that are worth stopping to appreciate. | Tours available Monday- Friday by appointment
(But remember, you don't have to schedule a tour to stop by the Gardens. They are free to the public and open from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year!)
Music, art, and theater aficionados will enjoy tours at the Honeywell Center! Take in the beautiful details of the ornately-designed facilities (courtesy of Mark C. Honeywell himself) while learning about the rich history behind these walls. Get a glance backstage, see one-of-a-kind artwork and furnishings throughout the facilities, and hear about Mr. Honeywell’s journey and vision for this special place. | Tours available Monday-Friday by appointment Curious about the newly-renovated Eagles Theatre? Our work is nearly complete, and very soon we will also offer tours at this historic landmark that holds a place in the hearts of so many.
Senior Outreach Program
Another way we bring joy and enrichment to people in all walks of life is through our Senior Outreach Program. Established in 2011, our Senior Outreach Program brings live music experiences into assisted-living facilities. It allows residents to experience music up close and personal, get a chance to interact with the artists, and enjoy shared experiences among peers in a fun, uplifting setting. This encourages a sense of community, belonging, and companionship. When facing illness, repetitive medical routines, and loneliness, these experiences can make a world of difference in quality of life.
Educational Outreach Program
Our team also works to enrich the lives of children PreK-12th grade through our Educational Outreach Program. Using visual arts, music, and theater, Educational Outreach helps students learn and grow through arts-infused education. We hear time and again from educators that our programs are not only exposing students to art, but also helping them to think creatively, engage in the classroom, enjoy learning, and succeed across multiple areas of study. What a joy it is, not only for students, but for our staff and team of educators as we witness “aha” moments and make learning fun!
These are just a few ways the Honeywell Foundation brings joy and enrichment to ALL through one-of-a-kind arts and cultural opportunities.
But we couldn't do any of it without YOU.
A nonprofit arts organization, our programming is made possible by donors, patrons, volunteers, and supporters who give back to their community through their support of the Honeywell Foundation. Every moment you volunteer, every event you attend, and every dollar you donate makes a difference.
Together, we bring joy and enrichment to all.
Be part of something bigger.
