The Honeywell Foundation Announces Public Campaign to Fund Future Eagles Theatre Educational Program
The Honeywell Foundation recently announced a public campaign to raise essential funding needed to establish and sustain new educational programs to be housed at the Eagles Theatre building following its renovation, which will begin early this fall.
The renovation, dubbed the Eagles Renovation Project, is the largest construction project to take place at the site since the historic vaudeville theatre first opened in 1906. The Eagles Renovation Project will rework and reimagine unused areas within the building, creating interactive classrooms for educational programs, a second movie theatre and rentable event spaces.
Educational programs will include vocal and instrumental courses, a multimedia arts program, and a partnership with the Heartland Career Center for high school students to earn college credits. These programs will foster art appreciation and education for regional residents and students, creating unique learning opportunities that are curren
