The Future's So Bright, We Have to Wear Shades 😎

As we embark on a fresh new year with many exciting things to come (you may have heard the news about Eagles Theatre), the first few weeks of 2020 have been a great time for us to reflect on all we’ve accomplished in the past year, celebrate success, identify areas for growth, and plan for the future.
Our team takes pride in the impact of the Honeywell Foundation’s collective efforts in our community and region. In 2019, we served nearly 225,000 people through a wide spectrum of arts offerings:
We held over 50 shows and concerts in the Honeywell Center.
We hosted a wide variety of community events: Artsfest, Jazz on the Lawn, American Heritage Craft Show, Spring and Winter Bashes, Lunch & Learns at Charley Creek Gardens, dining events, holiday events, galleries, and more.
We featured 780 artists, including 640 student artists, in the Clark Gallery.
We provided nearly 52,000 educational interactions with students across 16 counties.
We brought live music experiences into senior living facilities across 9 counties, touching the lives of more than 2,000 older adults in our region.
We renovated Eagles Theatre, which will preserve a cherished landmark while creating new opportunities for entertainment, education, and events. We look forward to re-opening in spring of 2020!
We accomplished our mission and vision through our focus on teamwork, innovation, excellence, service and stewardship – core values we defined before the start of 2019.
The importance of the Honeywell Foundation’s work – serving as a trusted community partner, leading the way in arts education, creating arts opportunities for all, and living out Mark C. Honeywell’s wishes of being “ever useful” – are all things we prided ourselves in doing in 2019 and will continue to do in 2020. Stay tuned for great things to come!
Dear friends, all of our accomplishments in the past year were made possible by the outstanding support you provided. You help us touch lives, create opportunities, and reach for greater things for our community every day. From all of us at the Honeywell Foundation, thank you. Every moment you volunteer, every event you attend, and every dollar you donate makes a difference. Together, we build a flourishing community, region, and state.
Wishing you and your families the best year yet!
