During VirtuACT Camp, campers will do a deep dive into theater performance in a virtual environment as they prepare ensemble performances. The final performance will include two shows: "Virtual Family" and "The Virtual Complaint Department."
The $60 registration fee includes an Actor's Toolkit Box that will include activities, worksheets, props and costume pieces for the show. These will be distributed the week before camp. A camp t--shirt is optional for $18. Registration closes Mon. June 29 at 11:59 pm. Financial assistance is available

Theme: Musicals and Monologues: A Night of Theater for the Quarantined
Chicago-based actress, Acting teacher at Chicago School for the Arts, and VPA Summer Theatre alumni Sarah Grant will be directing theatre camp. She is creating a performance that will be a mix of monologues and songs from favorite musicals. Students will work with the director and music director to master their songs, learn their lines, and prepare an exciting performance. Auditions are required. If students prefer to act rather than sing, they can submit a monologue or scene of their choice.
